My Story
Christi's journey with healing Calendula balms, butters, and salves began alongside her active family, all of whom have sensitive skin. It is Christi's greatest honor to now share these products with you and your loved ones. Our micro-farm is situated in the fertile Spokane Valley, we meticulously grow, nurture, and hand-gather resinous, sticky calendula blooms, complemented by other healing herbs and flowers. The infusion of these blooms into oils, followed by emulsification with organic dark yellow beeswax, forms the foundation for our soothing and hydrating creations.
How It Started
In her early years, Christi found joy in baking and gardening with her grandparents, a passion that has never waned. As a new family her babies revealed their extremely sensitive skin, prompting memories of her grandmother's salve-making with garden produce. Inspired, I created my own Calendula balms. As our babies grew into active toddlers and young boys, the balms became a constant need for soothing rashes, bumps, or bites. Now, as teenagers, they incorporate these balms into their lives seamlessly. Over time, Christi shared her crafted body butter with friends and family. One friend, amazed at its efficacy, exclaimed, "If you don't sell this to the world, you are being selfish! It is the only thing that has fixed my crocodile feet." And so, BeeSpoke Balms, LLC was born.
